THE 2ND EDITION OF THE PHANEUF & DUNN GOLF CLASSIC WAS A COMPLETE SUCCESS!

For a second year in a row, we are excited to announce that the Phaneuf & Dunn Golf Classic was a complete success on August 20, 2023 at the Tecumseh Golf Club!

The goal of our Golf Classic is to raise funds to give 12 $1000 scholarships to young players in the region during the 2023 – 2024 hockey season!

OBJECTIVE OF THE GOLF CLASSIC

Due to the great success of our 1st edition, we have succeeded in giving 12 $1000 scholarships to young hockey players, thanks to your registration and to our sponsors.

Due to the great demand, we have decided to continue for a 2nd year by raising funds to give 12 scholarships of $1000 to young hockey players in the region during the 2023 – 2024 hockey season!

Yes, 12 $1000 scholarships that will be awarded every month of the 2023-2024 season. Thank you for helping us reach our goal!

On August 20, 2023, we were at the Tecumseh Golf Club where we expected 32 foursomes, for a total of 128 players. Our basic registration included your 18-hole golf, a cart, supper and a 6 to 8 with lots of announcements and surprises.

Alex Lawlis

Alex Lawlis is a young guy of 10 years old. He is a leader with a positive and contagious energy. Alex has already participated in several challenges to date, which has allowed him to demonstrate how much he wants to excel and how disciplined he is in everything he does. During the first few days of the challenge, Alex had difficulty doing back to back jumps on the rope, but thanks to his commitment and discipline, there was a marked improvement throughout the challenge, especially towards the end!

Maika Germain-Riel

Maika has been in the SEFO program with us for over 3 years. A talented and disciplined young goalkeeper, she is currently playing Midget AAA at 16 years old. Smiling, listening and positive, Maika stood out during the October 1K Challenge by juggling 3 balls. She has also been a LEADER in the challenges since the very beginning!

Louka is a young and determined goalie from Val-d'Or who participated in our hockey camp in Malartic. He stood out during the 1K challenge (run 1km for 30 days) by creating inspiring videos.

Kieran McIntosh

Kieran is a 14 year old local leader currently playing with OHA White - HEO U18 AAA. He stood out from the rest during the 84 challenge by completing the challenge 72 out of 84 times!
